FROTH-PAK™ 200 Foam Sealant is a portable, two-component, spray polyurethane foam dispensing system for air sealing, insulation and moisture management around the building envelope. Reducing air leakage is critical for enhancing building envelope performance. Depending on the construction details, often a source of air leakage is around the perimeter of the building between the roof deck and parapet. Sealing this area during construction can potentially reduce costly repairs later, as well as improve building performance
FROTH-PAK Foam Insulation is a closed cell, two-component, quick-cure polyurethane spray foam that fills cavities, penetrations, cracks and expansion joints. Unlike one-component foam, FROTH-PAK Foam Insulation is a chemically cured foam, significantly reducing curing time.
For filling cavities, penetrations, cracks and expansion joints, amongst several other applications, the chemically-cured Dow Froth Pak foam has significant advantages, including a reduced curing time and a shorter wait for the foam to become tack-free. When you've run out of this great product, refillable cylinders are available.
Theoretical Yield (Board Feet)= 200 Board Feet (0.46 m3)
Spray Foam requirements are calculated in "Board Feet". A Board Foot is simply an area of cured foam measuring 12" x 12" x 1" thickness after curing. Froth-Pak 200 is typically used as a foam insulating sealant to fill cavities, wall and floor penetrations, and is also commonly used to repair spray-applied polyurethane applications. Froth-Pak can be used in either interior or exterior industrial, commercial, institutional and residential settings. If used in an exterior setting, a coating must be applied for UV protection.
Read all instructions and safety information (MSDS) before using any products. Foam bonds to skin quickly - wear gloves, eye protection and work clothes during application. Use drop cloths and mask work areas.
Surface should be free of oil, grease and excess moisture. For best results, apply in 24°C (75°F) temperature. Froth-Pak can be applied effectively in cold temperatures (above freezing) provided the kit contents are at least 24°C (75°F).
